BASIC BRAID HAIR CARE:
hair using a clarifying shampoo. Lightly stroke the braids to wash them thoroughly. Rinse the shampoo out of your hair completely.
Massage your scalp from the
front to the back and then back to front, working in the pattern of your braids. Massage carefully, using only the pads of
your fingers to to prevent pulling out braided hairs.
Pour 3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar into a small bowl. Add 1 tbsp. water to the vinegar. Carefully
-- and with your eyes closed -- pour the vinegar through your hair from the front to the back. The apple cider vinegar solution
will remove any lint or debris from your hair.
Apply a water-based, leave-in conditioner to your hair to keep your braids shiny and smooth.
Apply a light, oil-based moisturizer to your scalp in between the braids. This will help prevent your scalp from drying out and flaking.
Use a microfiber towel to
pat your hair dry. If you have a little time, you can simply let your hair air-dry.
Groom your hair -- gently and carefully -- using
a soft-bristled brush
